And then I ran into Ronnie.....

Ronnie is a regular on the Staten Island poker circuit as well as the casinos. Ron is a good guy, gives lots of action and is on an incredible winning streak having recently won a very large bad beat pay out at a casino as well as chopping last nights tourney between 1st & 2nd and taking the "High Hand" payout for the tourney, which was a nice chunk in itself. I had quadrupled my stack in 3 hours and then Ronnie sat down...........

How this came about...

Pocket Aces has become my nightmare. Over the course of my last 6 nights out playing No Limit Texas Holdem, 4 tournaments (local), 1 cash game (local $5/$5) and my first time @ The Borgata, I was sent kicking rocks down the street each time playing this hand! After my first experience and attempting to slow play the pair and getting sent home early I knew this was not going to be my approach ever again. The next 5 times was either all in pre flop, after flop or on turn. Apparently none of these moves proved to be rewarding. Yes, I had good reads each time and knew what I was up against with each individual. People just love to chase those straights and flush draws and I CAN'T STAND IT!
